The NAS side is the fast local storage your team works on every day: a Synology DS923+ over 10 GbE feeding a video editor's Mac Studio in Dubai Media City, a QNAP TS-464 hosting a music producer's Logic Pro sample library in Studio City, a Buffalo TeraStation acting as the file server for a 25-person accounting firm in DIFC. The backup side is the safety net underneath: scheduled snapshots on btrfs or ZFS, off-site immutable copies in Backblaze B2 or AWS S3 Glacier, Microsoft 365 mailbox backup with Datto or Veeam, and a written restore-drill schedule that proves the backups actually work.

The audience is specific. On the creative side: video editors cutting in DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro who need sustained 500 to 900 MB/s on their NAS, music producers running Logic Pro X and Pro Tools sessions off shared sample libraries, 3D artists pushing Cinema 4D and Octane scene caches, photographers with multi-terabyte Lightroom catalogs in Studio City, architects in ArchiCAD and Rhino working off shared project shares.
